Emily Warren, Deputy Secretary, Innovative Mobility Solutions
Emily is responsible for coordinating CalSTA efforts to promote the deployment of cutting-edge technologies to maximize safety and mobility across all modes of transportation. She focuses on autonomous vehicles, zero emission vehicles and charging infrastructure, advanced air mobility, and shared mobility services, amongst other issues. Before joining CalSTA, Emily spent 13 years in public policy leadership roles in the technology industry advancing the commercialization of transportation innovations. She began her career as an aide to U.S. Congresswoman Susan A. Davis of San Diego.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Critical Gender Studies from the University of California, San Diego and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania's Fels Institute of Government. She serves on the Leadership Council of the National Center for Sustainable Transportation and on the advisory board of the UCLA Institute of Transportation Studies.
