AFRICA
2026 California-Africa Climate and Economic Partnership
Join us in San Francisco on April 23rd for the 2nd Annual California–Africa Climate and Economic Forum (CACEF)! During San Francisco Climate Week, in collaboration with the UC Davis Global South Center for Clean Transportation and the Bay Area Council, CalSTA will host leaders from government, industry, academia, and civil society to explore shared challenges and scalable solutions in transportation decarbonization, climate-smart agriculture, and community resiliency. Building on California’s pioneering partnerships with Kenya and Nigeria, this year’s forum broadens the conversation, welcoming additional African nations into a growing network of climate and economic collaboration. As California deepens its engagement with Africa, the forum will highlight a cooperative model that provides policy certainty, expands access to affordable climate technologies, and unlocks catalytic investment. Mark your calendars and join us to hear real world outcomes shaping long-term climate and economic engagement between California and Africa!
Date: April 23, 9:30am–2:00pm (Networking & Registration begins at 9:30am)
Venue: The Exploratorium, Pier 15, San Francisco
