Sacramento- Today, California Transportation Secretary Toks Omishakin released the following statement about California's commitment to high-speed rail:
"This is the largest state led infrastructure project in the nation, and California is getting it done. The high-speed rail project is creating jobs, transforming communities and delivering real progress. Turning back now would mean abandoning the future. We're not going to let that happen. I am thankful for the team that is working hard every day to deliver this critical project, and for Governor Newsom's unwavering leadership on clean rail mobility as well."
