Tim Weisberg, Acting Deputy Secretary, Transportation Safety and Enforcement
Tim Weisberg joined the CalSTA team in February 2025. He previously worked at the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) since 2018, where he most recently served as Deputy Director of Communications and Public Affairs. Tim has served multiple roles at the OTS, including Acting Deputy Director and Public Information Officer. Tim started his career with the state in August 2017 as a Public Information Officer at Caltrans District 7 in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Prior to state service, Tim worked in news media as a local news producer at ABC10 in Sacramento and 9News in Denver. Tim received a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and Master of Arts degree from New York University.
